An Introduction...

Hi to all, I am the "Soul_of_the_Ether!" Its great to be joining you here on the "I love lily chou-chou forum." ... 'I never knew a site like this existed!'... Furthermore, I'm new to this type of site so I hope this introduction is alright for you.

I've been a big fan of Lily ever since I saw the "AALCC" film for the first time a couple of years ago; the music connected with my soul from the very moment that it started playing in the opening scene, sending me into a state of rapturous delight; I could feel the melodic & spiritual tones literally flowing through my body... & then I heard HER voice... too beautiful by far to give it but one name in praise of its beauty; for to call Her sound merely beatiful would only belittle the truth of the matter: It was as if the great Goddess of the Infinite Stars (& the Infinite Space therefore) had herself taken on human form to grace my sense's with her eternal being... I was captivated throughout the whole film, & found myself staring at a blank screen wanting more when the credits finally finished rolling... From then on I was hooked; I became a true Lily-holic.

I have always loved what I perceive to be "the Japanese Art-Form", the culture, their mentality, sense of humour, etc.; I suppose it comes from being raised on Manga & Martial Arts from a young age, & then discovering for myself the wonders of over 100 years of Japanese cinema. The thing is it just seems that --to my mind at least-- their Way (or Tao) is so much more in tune with my world view; or it's certainly more consistent with it by any means.

I'm English! Never been to Japan, but I plan to get there one day. ... What more can I say? ... I noticed there aren't very many members here, & that posts are also very few & far between; I'd like to try & apply the remedy to that: my very own brand of VITRIOL (the Universal Solvent); but I believe I will need some assistance... SO TO ANYONE READING THIS: --you must have some interest in Lily, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this in the first place-- if you feel you could contribute anything to the site, anything at all, register, please do, & then post something; that way we might start to get post's flowing more frequently. ...Its only a thought though... If you can't help, no worries, we all have are own path's to follow, are own Modus Operandi; which way that path leads makes little difference from where I'm standing. All I know is that IT is the Way! And whichever way IT is; so long as IT's forward, the specific's don't really matter in the slightest. I just deal with each thing naturally as it comes, taking all in my stride.

[That went a bit weird towards the end there ;-} ...But I really do hope we can get some true Lily-holic's posting on the site again sometime soon. ... If you got this far, thanks for reading; I hope that was ok as an introduction.]

Hello ^^ As I've said before, it's nice to have you here. Your story sounds like many other lilyholics.. It is difficult to not become enraptured with the music in the film, wanting more and more.. not to mention the film itself. Japan is probably on most of our wish lists for countries to visit.. I plan to go someday too.

There are few members.. (even fewer than on lilyholic.com) I left most of the forum open for public viewing so that people might be more inclined to join. The more posts we get, the more members we will get. The more members we get, the more posts we will get ^^' A little bit of advertising goes a long way... Like I said previously, I'm going to try to get as much content as possible on the site, including character profiles, music downloads, etc. to draw more fans.. Hopefully our efforts are successful.

Thanks Zinmirai, have no fear; whenever I get the time I'll login to see whats been happening, & of course to add more posts. I know your putting in the work to make this site even better, so I'll try to keep as active as possible, to do my part... Also I'm sure anyone interested in AALCC will love the "additions" to the site once there all in place, it should definitely draw more members in -- I mean: if I had only just watched the film for the first time, & then, with the memory of it all still fresh in my mind, came across this site with all the things you mentioned, I'd be registering straight away  ;-]  ... Its good to see that we've had some more new members join up -- a little step in the right direction.
