Sigur Ros

Has anybody heard of the Icelandic band called Sigur Ros? I think they might make their music out of the ether. Have a listen and tell me what you think.

My coworker knows about them, but I have not listened them before. I was going to ask him for a sample, but was afraid to pronounce the name wrong (and after finding a pronunciation online, realized how difficult it would be to actually say)

Follow that link and download their best album (in my opinion) for free. They are very etherical. I'm pretty sure they make music from the ether but I need a second opinion. Please let me know as soon as you listen to them!

I haven't listened yet.. I only listen to music at work, but sometimes the music becomes overwhelming, and I cannot work, or I cannot listen.. things have been bad recently; I managed to put my headphones on once in the past month.. and I listened to lily and loveletter.

I like their work. They're ambient, with long dragging vocals, seeming to carry you off somewhere, a better place.

Anyway, I can't really say if the music has ether or not. I think that's subjective. Music affects people differently.

Someone may get pumped up by Iron Maiden, while someone else might just be disgusted, or doesn't even care about the song.

But yeah, Sigur Ros is definitely worth having to listen to. It's good music, and the music video is pretty neeto too.
