Hello everyone! I was recommend here by cedricwhale on last.fm.

I am a huge fan of Japanese cinema and first came across Lily while scouring IMDb, looking for new films to watch. It sounded great, I went on YouTube to check out the trailer, saw that someone had uploaded the whole film, thought I would take a look and ended up watching it all. I was left, of course, absolutely speechless. The DVD is out of print here in the UK, but thankfully I was able to get ahold of one of the last straggling copies. As soon as it arrived, I watched it again and was sucked even deeper into Lily's world.

I could sit here and praise the film, endlessly tell you how wonderful it is, but then I am sure you all already know. It's easily one of my favourite films of all time, and definitely my favourite Japanese film, up there with Takeshi Kitano's Kikujiro.

Coincidentlly as I type this I am listening to the All About Lily Chou-Chou soundtrack and Sight by Takeshi Kobayashi just happens to be my most played song ever. Lily Chou-Chou, the film, its soundtrack and everything about it just oozes brilliance.

Well then, I can't wait to discuss the film and meet you all. Unfortunately Lily fans seem hard to come by where I live!

I think everybody with the right mind set needs to see this film. Ofcourse it isn't for everybody.

I know it is hard to find other fans of the film. We are trying to build a community here but it is slow work.
